2021 IOC WORKBOOK
The use of a workbook is not necessarily a current trend, although they do have a source of utility in some situations. All students do not have a computer or internet. Due to states and cities shut downs and social distant (libraries are out) it is advisable to work within the confinement of our home. NBCL/IOC will not use Twitter, Face Book or Zoom to facilitate the 2021 Learning Event.
The advantages of using a workbook will give all students the opportunity to participate at their own pace.
In the following subjects:
1. Ethics and Standards Difference between Business Ethics and Social Responsibility
2. Time Management Leadership as it relates to time management
3. Lifestyle Solutions
4. Money Management (small business survival)
5. Barber Styling
6. Advance Haircutting
They offer the student a means of practicing problem-solving, wither in the classroom or as homework. In courses such as these, the students must have the opportunity to grapple with the problems presented, and this is a decided advantage. Think critically as defined:
Critical thinking is the process of carefully and systematically analyzing problems to find ways to solve them. It involves identifying several possible solutions and then logically evaluating each one, comparing them to one another on their merits, and then selecting the one that you conclude is the most promising.
We will be working in conjunction with Professors:
Muriel E. Jackson - Texas Southern University
Darnell Maddox - Southern University
Mr. Lane - Upper Iowa University
Mrs. Lane - Kansas State University
NBCL/IOC Instructors (according to CE Credits)
