​This year of 2023 as president has been a great challenge to me, a year of trials, tribulations and tragedies, and from conversations with many of the wonderful members, their lives has not been any easier.  We united together with the determination that challenges don't need to confine the National Beauty Culturists' League Incorporated.  How this wonderful organization choose to deal with them is what counts.  When WE  remember that this organization is not about an individual, it is about ALL that are dedicated to the Legacy established by the Pioneers that left a foundation to be built upon for future generations to share the educational privileges once denied.

This is indeed a time to retain an Assurance in Faith which will guide the National Beauty Culturists' League Incorporated through all seasons good or bad. I will continue to give thanks to Jesus Christ for the years of abundance showered on this organization and retain a grateful heart to protect me from negative thinking due to challenges.

We have grown beyond the dreams of our founders and past officers, and in today's society let us pause to thank them, and each other for the lasting dedication in retaining and maintaining the building purchased in the Historical District located at 25 Logan Circle N. W., Washington, DC 20005.

I sincerely extend my appreciation to all members, and those serving in departments that are still working to make adjustments due to the pandemic.  It is my prayer that through Faith, and Hope, WE will remain TOGETHER in continuing the progress made in the past and that it will influence the lives and progress of many in the beauty industry.
